"You probably don't remember old school steel skates with skate keys that clamped onto your shoes, do you? But that's what we had back in the old days, and we took those skates apart to nail onto 2x4s to make our first skateboards. From those earliest days, my only exposure to real skateboards with quality trucks, bearings, and wheels was the long board my brother purchased when I was still in elementary school. Fast forward to today and I finally got my first real skateboard, a decades long dream come true! I have to admit I was drawn to this board by its low sale price, but after receiving it yesterday I would happily have paid its original price, because this is one is total quality! It isn't often these days that what you receive exceeds your highest expectations, but this one does it for me. I wouldn't change a thing. Perhaps the Baja photo journey design doesn't resonate with today's skateboard aesthetics, but this old hack felt right at home with the design, harkening back to yesteryear when life was free and easy. What an incredible bargain to find this piece, with impeccable quality, at such a low price. Awesome!"
